D-panthenol is slightly bitter colourless highly viscous and transparent liquid at room temperature. It has a characteristics odour and it found is certain food such as meat, fish, egg yolk, almond and nuts. D-panthenol is a stable form of vitamin B5 and it used as moisturizer, soothing and repairing properties. It also used for the relief of burning, itching, discomfort of eyes caused due to dryness or exposure to the sun. D-panthenol liposules are water insoluble actives.
